Terms of Service
Terms governing use of Huffman Sports Wire, including paid products, subscriptions, community conduct, and sports information.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Huffman Entertainment LLC, a Virginia limited liability company doing business as Huffman Sports Wire (“HSW,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms govern the Huffman Sports Wire website, applications, community features, data feeds, paid products, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Features identified as 18+, including The Wire Room, are available only to adults who complete the required age-verification and policy-acceptance steps. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. You may not transfer your account or use another person’s account without permission.
2. Independent publication and intellectual property
HSW is an independent, unofficial sports publication. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, team, school, athlete, or governing body. Third-party names, marks, logos, statistics, and other identifiers belong to their respective owners and are used for factual identification, news reporting, analysis, commentary, or other legally permitted purposes.
Our original reporting, selection and arrangement, analysis, rankings, graphics, interface, and software are protected by applicable law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Service for lawful, non-commercial purposes.
3. Prohibited uses
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, scrape, crawl, systematically extract, train a model on, or create a competing database from protected Service content without our prior written permission. You may not bypass access controls or rate limits; probe or disrupt the Service; introduce malicious code; impersonate another person; misuse another user’s information; commit fraud; or use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights. Ordinary search-engine indexing that follows our published technical directives is not prohibited.
4. For entertainment purposes only
THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL SCORES, STATISTICS, ODDS DISCUSSION, RANKINGS, PROJECTIONS, MOCK DRAFTS, PREDICTIONS, FANTASY ANALYSIS, AND SIMULATIONS, IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.
Huffman Sports Wire is not a gambling site, sportsbook, casino, or wagering operator. We do not accept bets, wagers, or deposits and do not facilitate gambling transactions.
Content may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate and is not an official league or team record. Nothing on the Service is financial, gambling, legal, tax, investment, or professional advice, and no content is a guarantee of any outcome. You are solely responsible for verifying information and deciding whether and how to act on it. Where sports wagering or paid fantasy contests are lawful, you remain responsible for complying with applicable law, age restrictions, and operator terms. If gambling is causing harm, seek help and do not rely on the Service.
5. User content and community features
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant HSW a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, moderate, and promote the Service. You represent that you have the rights required to submit the content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.
You may not post unlawful, infringing, defamatory, threatening, harassing, deceptive, privacy-invasive, or abusive material, illegal streaming links, ripped broadcasts, or unauthorized paywalled content. We may review, preserve, restrict, or remove content and suspend access, but we do not undertake a general obligation to monitor everything users submit. Community participation is also governed by our Community Guidelines.
6. Copyright complaints
We respond to properly submitted copyright notices and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. Instructions for submitting a notice or counter-notice appear in our DMCA Copyright Policy. The email listed there is our public copyright contact; a statutory DMCA agent designation is effective only if separately registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.
7. Paid products and subscriptions
Paid access may include one-time digital purchases or recurring subscriptions. Prices, billing intervals, included benefits, and trial terms are shown before checkout. Payments and subscription management may be processed by Whop, Stripe, or their payment partners under their terms.
Recurring subscriptions continue until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not ordinarily end access already paid for. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, charges are non-refundable. You must contact us promptly about billing errors and provide accurate billing information.
8. Third-party services
The Service may use or link to identity, payment, advertising, hosting, sports-data, ticketing, streaming, social-media, or other third-party services. We do not control their content, availability, security, or practices, and their separate terms apply. A link, embed, reference, or advertisement does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HSW AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, CONTRIBUTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES; OR ANY FINANCIAL LOSS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
THIS EXCLUSION EXPRESSLY INCLUDES LOSSES ASSOCIATED WITH SPORTS WAGERS, BETTING, DAILY OR SEASON-LONG FANTASY SPORTS, LEAGUE ENTRY FEES, CONTEST FEES, PRIZES, TRANSACTIONS, ROSTER DECISIONS, OR RELIANCE ON SCORES, INJURY INFORMATION, PROJECTIONS, ODDS DISCUSSION, RANKINGS, OR OTHER SITE DATA—even if we were advised that such losses were possible.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID HSW DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HSW and its owners, members, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your user content, unlawful use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from HSW’s own unlawful conduct.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or modify or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or preserve the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and dispute provisions.
13. Virginia law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any non-waivable right you may have, state and federal courts located in Virginia will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
14. General terms
These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement regarding the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, sale, or transfer of the Service. Headings are for convenience only.
15. Changes and contact
